Free Health Fair Receives Healthy Attendance
During the first Sister to Sister Health Fair in Phoenix on February 16, 2007, Equanimity and its incredible team of volunteers created an event that attracted 1,000 attendees and screened over 500 women for cholesterol and blood pressure. We had a fantastic group of health experts and doctors speaking about prevention of heart disease and overall wellness. We received positive feedback from all of the women that attended and increased awareness of heart disease in the Phoenix community. To learn more about this program please visit the website www.sistertosister.org.
